[WIP] Undercity's Remake
For a while, I wanted to do a big project using as much of the UE5 power.
This project comes from this will and a love for the World of Warcraft universe.
The capital of Undercity always had a unique vibe and seeing much wonderful projects of remake I wondered what this place would look like given a lot of time and effort.
The project started with defining the modules that would be used for the project.
The circularity of the models made this piece quite challenging while being a very interesting problem.
After the modules were designed came the time to improve the general flow of the place.
While the ambiance of this place still impresses me, the technical limitations of a two-decade-old MMO lacked a lot of detail.
I took all props/modules/textures to re-conceptualize them and add as many details as I would be able to.
The point of this project is to try to push the aesthetic proper to Warcraft to a more realistic side. That means creating all the models/Textures/Trims and others from scratch.
There is still a ton of work to see a proper V1 but I already learned a lot with this amazing project and can't wait to see what new things I'll discover.
